“Eye Just Flaked” – My Albolene Eye Makeup Remover Review
The further I get into my 40’s, the more shit goes wrong with my face. Weird shit. For example, suddenly my eyelids are dry, flakey, and a little red with irritation. Cleansers, makeup removers, and even moisturizers cause discomfort. This makes removing eye makeup painful.
Makeup remover caused my lids to get irritated, causing MORE redness and flaking. Then I needed to cover the redness with makeup…and eventually remove the makeup…more irritation. You get the picture.
I was in a vicious circle. Or cycle. Whatever it was, it was vicious.
Something had to be done.
I happened upon Albolene Eye Makeup Remover, and right there on the box it said NO BURNING OR IRRITATION! I put down the Ponds Cold Cream and bought Albolene.
I consider buying this makeup remover one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
This stuff has solved my eyelid issues. The flaking is gone and the itching has stopped. Concealer and shadow primer glide right onto my lids now! It’s a miracle worker for me!
Apply to lids and lashes, then tissue off. It removes waterproof eye makeup, and leaves your eye area conditioned and moisturized. It’s also great for conditioning lashes, I’ve even put a little on my brows. It’s paraben, preservative and fragrance free. It says it’s safe for contact lens wearers, but I don’t wear contacts, so I can’t really speak to that.
I’m so happy to have my eyelids back to normal!!! I had never heard of Albolene before – A skincare brand that has been around since 1905!!!
